JB Brick Company will hold a three-day event celebrating five years in business on Aug. 1-3.
An open house is scheduled for noon to 6 p.m. on Aug. 1-2, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Aug. 3. The Hermiston Chamber of Commerce will be on hand to help celebrate on Aug. 1.
JB Brick Company is also holding a 100 Brick Speed Build Contest during the three-day celebration. Each contestant will be given 100 random Lego bricks and 20 minutes to build a creation. Judges will determine the winners, who will be announced on Aug. 7.
There will be three age groups, 5-9, 10-17 and 18 and over. The first-place winner in each age group will win a $25 gift certificate.
To enter, simply stop by JB Brick Company, 295 E. Main St., suite 1E, during the open house hours.
