Jeremiah James Lancaster died Saturday, May 25, 2013 the result of an automobile accident near Hermiston at the age of 32.
He was born July 22, 1980 at Hermiston to James Ray and Kamie Lee (Haskett) Lancaster.
He lived in Hermiston, Weston, Milton-Freewater, Pendleton, Idaho and finally back to Hermiston in 2009. He worked as a foreman in construction for many years. On Sept. 21, 2002 he married Trina Ann Jones in Milton-Freewater. Jeremiah was a member of the Choctaw Indian Nation of Oklahoma. He enjoyed fishing, camping, the outdoors, bon fires, the water, and especially loved his family.
He is survived by his wife Trina of Hermiston; children, Alicia, Elizabeth, Joycelynn and Justice, all of Hermiston; mother, Kamie Haskett of Hermiston; stepmother, Nancy Lancaster of Oak Harbor, Wash.; grandmother, Shirley Haskett of Hermiston; sisters, Mysti Lancaster of Federal Way, Wash., Alicia (Eric) Force of Oak Harbor, Wash., and Kristy Lancaster of Oak Harbor, Wash.; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jim Lancaster; grandfather, Tharley Banks Haskett; uncle, Perry Haskett; and cousin, Joshua Spence.
A private family Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Disposition was by cremation.
