Jerry Wright Passes Away at 88
Gerald D. “Jerry” Wright of Hermiston died on Dec. 29, 2019 in Kennewick, Wash. at the age of 88.
He was born on July 29, 1931 in Trent to Alvie and Gussie Cruzan Wright.
Jerry lived in Hermiston and worked for many years as a carman for the Union Pacific Railroad. He loved horses and enjoyed pickup trucks, hunting, camping and visiting with people.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Deloris Cavadini; daughters, Holly Savage and her husband Bobby, and Lisa Crowell and her husband Terry; sons, Phillip Wright and his wife Deb, Kelly Wrenchey, and Keith Wrenchey and his wife Kim; sister, Jean Head; and four grandchildren.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents.
A graveside funeral service with military honors was held on Friday, Jan. 3, 2020 at 1 p.m. at the Hermiston Cemetery.
