James Grady “Jim” Busby died Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at Regency Hermiston Nursing Facility in Hermiston at the age of 72.
He was born May 5, 1942 at Hattiesburg, Miss., to Oscar Robert and Ruby Laverne (Douglas) Busby.
Jim served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam and later served as maintenance technician in the U.S. Navy. On June 6, 2012, he married Michele Sue Mattocks in Yakima, Wash. They lived in Kennewick, Wash., for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Michele Busby of Kennewick, Wash.; brother, Clifford Preston Busby of San Diego; and sister, Nola Bupp of Tucson, Ariz.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Earl Busby.
