James A. “Jim” Hoyt died on Dec. 14, 2023 at his home in Meacham at the age of 63.
He was born on Sept. 12, 1960 in Hermiston to Robert C. Sr. and Thula Thompson Hoyt.
Jim married Narita Wheelhouse and they had two children, Kaytlin and Tyler.
Jim loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He enjoyed playing baseball and basketball and spending time with his friends. Jim was giving, loving and funny.
He is survived by his daughter, Kaytlin Perri; son, Tyler Hoyt; father, Robert Hoyt Sr.; longtime partner, Sherri Fetterhoff; brother, Robert Hoyt Jr.; sister, Terri Hoyt; a grandson, Kaleb; an uncle, Richard Hoyt; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Jim was preceded in death by his mother and his grandparents.
A celebration of life gathering will be announced.
A private family burial will be held at the Hermiston Cemetery.
