Joseph Laszlo “Joe” Svatonsky of Irrigon died on Dec. 18, 2024 in Portland at the age of 56.
He was born on July 10, 1968 in Hermiston to Joseph and Marilyn Svatonsky.
He was the youngest of 15 children, the blended family of his, hers and ours. He grew up on the farm outside of Hermiston and attended Hermiston schools, graduating from Hermiston High School. Joe worked at the Crossroads in Umatilla for several years until his failing health forced him to stop working. He enjoyed farming, baseball, board games, Christian music and crafting and loved the Lord.
He is survived by seven siblings and numerous nieces and nephews and great- and great-great nieces and nephews.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and three sisters.
