Joel Ray Moses of Stanfield died on March 9, 2022 in Richland, Wash. at the age of 51.
He was born on Sept. 22, 1970 in Hermiston to Junior and Priscilla Flanagan Moses.
Joel was raised and attended school in Stanfield, graduating in the class of 1989. He worked on area farms and then as a ditch rider for the Hermiston Irrigation District. Joel enjoyed fishing, four-wheeling – placing second at Starkey – watching car racing, traveling and trips to the casino. He lived his life selflessly helping and giving to others. “If you are going to leave anything on this earth, let it be kindness.”
He is survived by his mother, Priscilla Moses, Stanfield; brother, John Moses and wife Billie, Pendleton; sister, Lori Patterson, Irrigon; nephews, Warren and Brian; niece, Hollie; baby dog, Icy; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Joel was preceded in death by his father, Junior Moses.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 18, 2022 at 11 a.m. at the Echo Cemetery.
