John W. Walker of Irrigon died on Jan. 23, 2024 in Hermiston at the age of 78.
He was born on Dec. 30, 1945 in Douglas County, Mo.
John served in the United States Marine Corps during Vietnam until his honorable discharge. He worked as a Coos County sheriff’s deputy for several years. John enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding horseback and gardening and was an animal lover.
