A Umatilla County judge sentenced a man to more than 12 years in prison for molesting two girls in Eastern Oregon.
Russell Haney, 47, of Springfield, was sentenced to 12 ½ years in prison by Umatilla County Circuit Court Judge Eva Temple, according to the East Oregonian.
Haney had pleaded guilty to three counts of first-degree sexual abuse. According to the East Oregonian, Haney admitted to touching a 7-year-old girl twice in 1994 and an 8-year-old girl in 2005.
Haney will get credit for the 19 months he spent in the county jail. After his release from prison, Haney will be required to register as a sex offender and spend more than six years on post-prison supervision.
