Karen Louise Shelly Berry of Hermiston passed away in Hermiston on July 23, 2020 at the age of 71.
She was born on Sept. 24, 1948 in Elko, Nev. to William D. and Marjorie E. Haley Shelly.
Karen moved to Hermiston as a child, where she attended school and later graduated from high school. She worked in banking throughout much of her adult life in the communities of La Grande and Hermiston.
She is survived by a daughter, Kathryn Cook; granddaughter, Morgan Berry; brothers, William F. Shelly and Danny (Dan) Shelly; sister, Marcie (Shelly) Christopher; several nieces, nephews and extended family members; and partner, Leroy Roth.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Gary W. Shelly.
At her request, no services are planned.
