Keith Harding Passes Away at 75

Keith Thomas Harding passed away in Kennewick, Wash., on Sunday Jan. 21, 2018 at the age of 75.

He was born Feb. 28, 1942 in Los Angeles to Glen and Bernice (Lueders) Harding.

Keith grew up and attended school in Rosemead, Calif., graduating Keith Thomas Hardingfrom Rosemead High School in the class of 1959. In the years after graduation his employment history varied from: music instructor, millwright, law enforcement and his compassion for people lead him to health care until he retired. He moved to Oregon, residing in Salem in the mid 1960s through the early 1970s and Central Oregon from the early the early 1970s until 1986. While residing in Central Oregon he met and  married Christine Eynon in Redmond, OR on March 23, 1974. In the late 1980s the couple moved to South Dakota residing in the communities of Garden City and Watertown. They have lived in Umatilla for the past 10 years.

Keith enjoyed outdoor activities such as; camping, fishing and hunting. He loved music, played in several bands and had the ability to play any instrument he picked up. He served in leadership positions in several of the communities he resided in. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Stacy.

He is survived by his wife of forty three years, Christine; daughters, Ronda (Mark) Talso, Kathy (Devon) Andrews and Robyn (Roderick) Klucas; sons, Joe Kalani, Travis (Arnell) Eynon, Patrick (Julie) Harding, Keith Thomas (Brenda) Harding JR. And Ken (Yana) Harding; brother, Kevin (Carolyn) Harding; thirty grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

A Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday Jan. 28, 2018 at the Hermiston United Methodist Church (191 E Gladys Avenue Hermiston).

The family suggest memorial contributions be made to the Hermiston United Methodist Church.
