Kevin Frank Pettey died on Aug. 6, 2020 surrounded by his family in his home at the age of 53.
He was born on Aug. 17, 1966 in Hermiston to Frank and Doris Teft Pettey.
Kevin was raised in Hermiston. He worked in construction for many years. Kevin was united in marriage to Deborah Bennett on Jan. 2, 1985 in Hermiston.
He cherished time with his family and enjoyed trips to the coast, working on projects, hunting, fishing, camping, four-wheeling and anything outdoors.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Pettey; children, Jessica Cutburth and her husband Mike, Trista Dunn, and Devin Pettey and his wife Becky; mother, Doris (Dode) Pettey; sisters, Cathy Zinter and her husband Dave, and Cindy Pettey; brother-in-law, Bill Dickerson; grandchildren, Shaela, Brisyn, Caiden, Makayla, Ashlynn, Chase, Hunter, Riley, Lucas, Emmett and Emma; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Frank Pettey and a sister, Tammy Dickerson.
A private burial will take place at the Hermiston Cemetery due to the restrictions.
