The Kiwanis Club of Hermiston and the Eastern Oregon First-Responders Chaplain Association are joining forces to present the Kiwanis Kids Day and Faith and First Responders community event on Saturday, Oct. 7 in Butte Park.
The dual-purpose event will provide not only a fun time for the entire family, but also the opportunity to thank, encourage and pray for first responders. The Hermiston Parks and Recreation Department has also coordinated with local food vendors.
The event goes from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is free to attend. For more information, call the parks department at 541-667-5018.
