She was born on Aug. 8, 1971 in Redmond to William and DeeAnn Carlson Urbach.
Kristi lived in Culver until the age of 5. She was raised in Tigard, Oregon by her parents DeeAnn and Tony Amstad. Kristi graduated from Tigard High School in the class of 1989. She worked in Sherwood, Oregon before moving to Hermiston, Oregon where she continued to work for Amstad Farms. Kristi was united in marriage to Justin K. Zimmerly on February 10, 1996 in Hermiston, Oregon. They were blessed with a son, Dillon Zimmerly on January 13, 1997. Kristi continued to work as the bookkeeper for Amstad Farms and was a devoted wife and Mom. She loved watching Dillon play chess and sports, especially basketball. Kristi was so proud of Dillon who is studying Nuclear Engineering at Oregon State.
She is survived by her husband: Justin Zimmerly, Hermiston, OR; son: Dillon Zimmerly, Hermiston, OR; parents: DeeAnn and Tony Amstad, Hermiston, OR; brother: Jeff Urbach & wife Tanya, Sherwood, OR, sister: Tammy Urbach Alley & husband JD, Culver, OR, brother: Skeeter Amstad & wife Cori, Sherwood, OR, sister: Kelly Fowler & husband Steve, Sherwood, OR, and sister: Theresa Jensen, Tigard, OR; sister-in-law: Canda Zimmerly, Hermiston, OR; brother-in-law: Lorren Zimmerly, Vancouver, WA; nieces: Gabrielle, Bailey, Cora, Ashlee, Lacy & Jessee; nephews: Jacob, Jared, Luke, Zachary, Thaddeus, Cole, Tad, Camren & Cody; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and great nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2016 at 3 p.m. at the First Christian Church, 775 W. Highland Ave., Hermiston.
