On Friday, Oct. 13, 2023, Landon Schab, our extraordinary son, father, brother and uncle, passed away at the age of 40 in Richland, Wash.
He was born on July 3, 1983 in Hermiston.
Landon graduated from Hermiston High School in 2002 and later received his bachelor’s degree in business from Eastern Oregon University. Landon was well known for his quirky sense of humor. He loved to play jokes on people, especially his family. He was always ready to help his family and friends. Landon enjoyed watching all sports involving his son, niece and nephews.
Landon was a very strong Christian and was always spreading the Lord’s word to whomever would listen, especially his family. The only light in this tragedy is the comfort that we will meet again, and the pain will be gone and there will only be happiness.
A graveside service will be held at a later date at the Hermiston Cemetery.
