He was born Dec. 17, 1927 to Leo and Lenore (McSweeney) Schwartz in Billings, Mont.
He met and married the love of his life, Marianne Cecelia Bantle, Aug. 3, 1947. In their 69 years of marriage, they enjoyed their four children, five grandsons and eight great-grandchildren.
They lived in Montana early in their married life, enjoyed many years in Kennewick, Wash., where Larry was employed selling turf irrigation equipment and pumps before he retired. Most recently, they lived in Hermiston.
Larry is survived by his wife, daughter Pamela Friese (Tom), sons Robert (CeSanne), Mark (Ruth), and Michael (Karen), grandsons Jonathan Friese (Alison), Joseph Friese (Wendy), Timothy Schwartz (Natalie), David Schwartz (Holly), and Matthew Schwartz (Ali), great-grandchildren Henry, Charlie and Evelyn Friese, Jaxson, Brody, Cameron, Harper and Emmie Rose Schwartz.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Madeline, and grandchildren Lisa and Todd Friese.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church in Hermiston.
Burial will follow at the Hermiston Cemetery.
