In addition to the manslaughter charges, state court records show the Morrow County District Attorney’s Office arraigned Daulton on July 24 on charges of second-degree assault, driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving.

Oregon State Police reported the preliminary investigation indicated Daulton was driving a Jeep Wrangler on the westbound side of the freeway and crossed into the eastbound lane. The Jeep crashed head-on with an eastbound Nissan king cab pickup.

Abrahan Figueroa, 50, was driving the pickup, and his son, Pedro Figueroa Mendoza, 17, was the passenger. They died in the crash.

Daulton and his passenger, Clarissa Ann Daulton, also 41, of Las Vegas, suffered serious injuries.

Court records show Anthony Daulton has a probable cause hearing July 31 at the Morrow County Courthouse in Heppner.
