She was born on March 29, 1941 in Berwyn, Ill., to Johnathon and Lucille Morgan Janus. Laurie was raised and attended schools in Alhambra, Calif. She was united in marriage to Steven L. Hubbard on March 29, 1958 in California. They lived in Long Beach, Calif., for many years and then moved to Pe Ell, Wash., in 1996 and later to Hermiston in 2008 where she has lived since. Laurie enjoyed arts and crafts, crocheting, and cherished her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Joy Pharris, Hermiston; mother, Lucille Janus, Hermiston; sister, Darlene Joyce Stillman, Las Vegas; and a granddaughter, Amanda Nichole.
Laurie was preceded in death by her father, Johnathon S. Janus; and her brother, Russ Hubbard.
A private family gathering will be held.
