The Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office (UCSO) is attempting to locate Dylan Jonathan Christensen an Irrigon man who may be armed and considered suicidal.
On Sunday, at approximately 6:45 p.m., the UCSO responded to a report of a suicidal male with a gun in the area of 32293 West Progress Road in Hermiston. The man, Dylan Jonathan Christensen, 27, allegedly pointed at black AR15 rifle at another person and also discharged the rifle into a field. UCSO deputies set up a perimeter to attempt to locate Christensen with the assistance of Oregon State Police, U.S. Fish & Wildlife, Umatilla Police Department, Stanfield Umatilla Police Department and UCSO Drone Team. Attempts to locate were unsuccessful and his current whereabouts are unknown. He was last seen with long brown hair and bandana, black tank top and white plaid shorts. He is approximately 6’2” and 185 pounds.
UCSO cautions the public that Christensen has made suicidal statements and may be armed. UCSO is seeking to make contact with Christensen to question him regarding the above incident and to check on his welfare.
