Lela P. Collier died on Nov. 13, 2020 at her home in Hermiston at the age of 95.
She was born on Oct. 25, 1925 in St. Louis Park, Minn.
Lela grew up in Minnesota and lived at several locations across the United States before moving to the Hermiston area with her husband and children in the 1970s. She was an artist and enjoyed painting and other crafts. Lela was a member of the Hermiston First United Methodist Church and Order of the Eastern Star, as well as several clubs and volunteer groups, where she met many friends that she enjoyed spending time with.
A celebration of life service at Hermiston First United Methodist Church is postponed until 2021, due to the current pandemic situation.
