The Hermiston Public Library will host a reception for artist Linda Phillips from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 9.
A display of Phillips’ western art is being presented at the Hermiston Public Library throughout the month of April. This presentation is part of the year-long display of local artists.
Phillips is an award-winning western artist, having been chosen to show her work at many shows throughout the western United States. She specializes in contemporary horses and cowboys in pencil but is also broadening out into landscapes, plants and wildlife. She is a lifelong resident of Hermiston.
The public is invited to stop by Thursday’s reception, view, and discuss the displayed works with the artist. Refreshments will be served.
