Linda Sue Epperson of Umatilla passed peacefully away on June 27, 2022 in Richland, Wash. surrounded by loved ones at the age of 72.
She was born on May 14, 1950 in Lebanon to Harold and Edna Ader.
After attending Sweet Home High School, Linda went on to become a loving wife and mother. Linda and her two children, Susan Kay Stone and Brian Stone, met Jason Epperson in 1974, and after several loving years together they wed on Sept. 25, 1978, going on to have two additional children, Jason R. Epperson and Joshua Dean Epperson.
When Linda had Susie, she decided to dedicate her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother. Linda excelled at loving her children and later her grandchildren and great grandchildren, supporting them through the many passions and difficulties of their lives. Whether that was supporting Jason through his work or encouraging her children in all life’s ups and downs, Linda made it her mission to improve the lives of others.
Linda was a very strong and compassionate woman, and when she wasn’t filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be found in caring for others’ needs. She spent many years caring for Jason’s mother, Florence Epperson, when she needed help and was unable to care for herself. We will miss Linda greatly.
She is survived by her husband, Jason Epperson; her children, Susan Kay Stone and spouse Donald Epperson, Brian Duwayne Stone, Jason Epperson and spouse Angie Epperson, Joshua Dean Epperson, and step daughter Stacey Epperson; 15 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
Linda was predeceased by her grandparents, Lonie and Mary Ader and Miggie Fuller; and her parents, Harold and Edna Ader.
There will be a celebration of life on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at 11 a.m. at McNary State Park, with a potluck and barbeque to follow.
The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to 1785 N.E. 14th St., Hermiston, Ore., 97838.
