Lois E. Gossett of Hermiston died on Dec. 11, 2022 in Hermiston at the age of 95.
She was born on Aug. 5, 1927 in Newton, Iowa to George and Tresie McCann.
She was raised and attended schools in Wyoming and later in Oregon City and Baker City. Lois lived most of her life in Hermiston, where she was an active member of the Church of Christ. She married Ray A. Gossett on Jan. 21, 2012 in Hermiston. Lois enjoyed sewing, jig saw puzzles, reading and cooking.
She is survived by her husband, Ray Gossett, Hermiston; son, Don Patton (Cherie), Moorcroft, Wyo.; brothers, Colin McCann and Roy McCann, both of Portland and Dale McCann, The Dalles; sisters, Susan East, Portland and Clyda Gard, Savannah, Texas; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Lorene McCann; and brothers, George and Ernest McCann.
Services will be announced.
