Howard Lee King passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at his home in Hermiston after a battle with cancer at the age of 72.
He was born on Jan. 19, 1942 in Gallipolis, Ohio to Benjamin and Mildred Moony King. Howard was a U.S. Navy Vietnam veteran. He was a longtime Hermiston resident and had worked at the Umatilla Army Depot. Howard was a member of the Hermiston Seventh-day Adventist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Freda King; his daughter, Tammy King; grandchildren, Robert Nichols, Jason Nichols, Ethan Faust, and Victor King; and great-grandchildren, Siena and Trevor Griggs.
At his request there will be no service.
