Lori Jean White, 63, passed away on June 5, 2024 in Artesia, N.M.
Lori was born on Jan. 17, 1961 in Bremerton, Wash. to Robert and Judith French.
Lori grew up in Port Orchard, Wash., graduating from South Kitsap High School’s class of ‘80. Shortly after, she began working as a paralegal in Seattle, Wash. and went on to have two daughters, Rachael and Leah with her then husband, Richard White in Bremerton, Wash.
Lori enjoyed operating Baskets of Beauty Plant Service, a successful indoor and outdoor landscaping business in Silverdale, Wash. for many years. She also worked as a florist before moving to Artesia, N.M. in 2015 to be closer to her oldest daughter and family.
In addition to being a talented gardener, her true passion was owning and riding horses with her daughters for over 25 years, a passion that has been carried on to her daughters and grandchildren that will never be forgotten.
She will be greatly missed by her family: daughters, Leah (Corey) Knapp and Rachael (Jagan) Joy; mother, Judith French; sister, Valerie (Mike) Hopkins; brother, Robin (Janelle) French; and her three grandchildren, Jaylee Joy, Jeslyn Joy and CJ Knapp.
A private family interment will be held in the Desert Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Irrigon.
