Lorraine Morris passed away at her home at Sun Terrace on March 13, 2020 at the age of 65.
Lorraine was born on June 30, 1954 in Pendleton to Wanda and Guy Moore.
She attended Weston-McEwen High School and was with the graduating class of 1972. She continued her education at Blue Mountain Community College. Her jobs included time at the Oregon Department of Human Services and Diamond Eye in Athena.
Lorraine’s family was very important to her; it includes her only brother, Richard (Sharon) Morris; her four children, Rikkilynn (Brian) Starliper, Caleb (Jenn) Tuttle, Miriah Werner, and her oldest son, Justin Tuttle, who preceded her in death in 2004. An added blessing was her stepchildren, Missy Picard and Bryson Picard. Her children provided her with her greatest joys in grandchildren. They include Coltyn, Cameryn, Casey, Ciralynn, Landon, Vincent, Hailey, Jackson, Harley, Jesse, Brock, Brayden, Drake and Zaylon; and great grandchildren, Dawson and McKinley. She was aunt to many more that loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wanda and Guy Moore in 1992 and 1999; son, Justin Tuttle; and her lifelong partner and loving father to all the children, Alvin Picard in 2017.
Lorraine loved her collection of odds and ends, including wind chimes, lighthouses, seashells, yellow sunflowers and Thomas Kincaid artwork, and she loved to watch “The Andy Griffith Show,” “Mash” and cartoons.
Due to recent circumstances, we will have a small celebration of life. If you are interested in specific details, please contact the family. We will have photo albums to go through, stories will be shared, and good times will be had, just as she would like.
