Lewis A. “Lou” Martuscelli died on July 27, 2023 at his home in Stanfield at the age of 73.
He was born on April 25, 1950 in Walla Walla, Wash. to Dominic and Josephine Ferraro Martuscelli.
Lou was raised and attended schools in Walla Walla, Wash. He was united in marriage to Cynthia M. “Cyndi” Kralman on Sept. 6, 1969 in Walla Walla, Wash. They lived in Walla Walla until 1979 when they moved to Stanfield, where he had lived since. Lou worked for Aramark for 42 years before he retired as a district manager in 2010. He was a member of the Stanfield Moose Lodge, served many years on the District 5 Little League board, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Lou enjoyed socializing, camping, traveling, playing cards, and most of all cherished time with his family.
He is survived by his sons, Shawn Martuscelli, Hermiston, Jereme Martuscelli, Alaska, Chad (Brooke) Martuscelli, Twin Falls, Idaho, Nick (Nicole) Martuscelli, Molalla and Dominic Martuscelli, Forest Grove; brother, Don Martuscelli, Walla Walla; sister, Marie Fazzari, Walla Walla, Wash.; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Lou was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Cyndi Martuscelli; his parents; and two sisters, Roseanne Liocano and Margarite Venneri.
Services were held on Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2023.
