Louis Warner Bliss of Irrigon, Ore., died March 9, 2013 in Hermiston, Ore., at the age of 74.
He was born on Aug. 11, 1938 in Colton, Calif., to Louis W. And Eldred Erwin Bliss. He was raised in Manhattan Beach, Calif. Warner married Judith Luker and they lived in the Longview-Kelso, Wash., area for many years. He worked as a welder for Weyerhaeuser Lumber Products until he retired in 1981. Warner moved from Kelso to Irrigon in 2002 where he has lived since.
He is survived by his daughter:, Kathy Lamar, Salem, Or.,; son, Steve Bliss, San Antonio; brothers:, Lyle Bliss, Irrigon, and Robert Bliss, Longview, Wash.; sister, Barbara Allen, Longview, Wash.; a grandson, Jarod; and several nieces and nephews.
Warner was preceded in death by his wife, Judy; and his parents.
