Lyman Patrick Deich, 84, of Umatilla, died on Wednesday Aug. 21, 2013 in Echo.
He was born in Portland on Feb. 21, 1929. Lyman was a graduate of Portland State with a master’s degree. Lyman worked for the Bureau of Land Management as an archaeologist. He was a member of the Mazamas, a mountaineering education club from Portland. His hobbies included climbing mountains. Private cremation was held.
