Mahala D. Adams White died on June 4, 2018 at her home in Hermiston at the age of 29.
She was born on July 15, 1988 in Richland, Wash. to Weslie and Karen Palmer Adams.
Mahala was raised and attended school in Umatilla. She was a standout athlete, participating in volleyball and basketball. Mahala graduated from Umatilla High School in the class of 2006. She married Darrin White on March 7, 2011 in Umatilla.
Mahala was a talented artist in both painting and drawing. She enjoyed baking, going hunting with the hounds in the mountains, and most of all spending time taking care of her two beautiful children, teaching them to be kind and loving. Mahala was the best at retelling stories about everyday life and adventures. She always wanted a celebration to be memorable, whether it was a birthday, Christmas or her favorite, Halloween. She would plan for months to make it fun for everyone.
