Man Dies After Motorcycle Goes Off Road Into Camas Creek

A Boise man died Saturday afternoon in a motorcycle crash on Highway 395 in Umatilla County.

The Oregon State Police responded to a report of single-vehicle crash near milepost 53. According to the OSP, David Paul Harrison, 70, was traveling northbound on Highway 395 on an Indian Roadmaster when he failed to negotiate a curve. The motorcycle left roadway, went airborne over an embankment and down into Camas Creek.

Harrison and the motorcycle struck large boulders and came to a rest in the creek. Harrison was pronounced dead at the scene.

The OSP was assisted by the Ukiah Quick Response Team and the Oregon Department of Transportation.
