Pendleton High School was on a temporary lockdown Wednesday afternoon following the report of a man with a weapon in the vicinity of the school.
Pendleton police took the man into custody.
The school was in lockdown from 2:34 to 2:55 p.m. Students and staff were safe inside the school during the incident.
No other information was released.
