She was born on April 3, 1934 in Boise, Idaho to parents, Bertrand and Emma Patton Stiff. She was raised and attended school in Idaho. Marge was united in marriage to Jesse L. “Jess” Terry Sr. on December 24, 1956 in Winnemucca, Nevada. They moved to Stanfield in 1977. In 1987 they moved to Quartzsite, Arizona where she has lived since. Marge was still working at the age of 80, enjoying the socializing and interaction with others. She enjoyed crocheting, bowling, traveling, fishing, and camping.
She is survived by her son: Jess Terry Jr., Hermiston, OR; daughters: Patty Headly, Quartzsite, AZ, Darlene Terry, Vancouver, WA, Vonda Putts, Magnolia, TX, Susan Brewer, Astoria, OR, Connie Dominguez, Hudson, FL, & Christine Silver, Waitsburg, WA; brother: Keith Stiff, Springfield, OR; sisters: Nita Bachelder, Cottage Grove, OR, & Afton Ray, Quartzsite, AZ; numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Marge was preceded in death by her husband Jess Terry Sr., daughter: Donna Terry, granddaughter Stephanie Gollyhorn, and her parents.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016 at Burns Mortuary Chapel in Hermiston.
Burial followed at the Hermiston Cemetery.
