Marsha Ceceille Branson Pratt of Irrigon died on Dec. 9, 2022 in Spokane, Wash. at the age of 66.
She was born on Dec. 10, 1955 in St. Anthony, Idaho the third of four children to Kelly S. Branson and Marjorie A. Henderson Branson.
Marsha grew up in southern Idaho and later spent time in Tennessee before returning to Idaho, where she met Mark Pratt. They had a four-month courtship and married on July 14, 1973 in Twin Falls, Idaho.
Marsha was an IT technician for Simplot for 20 years. She then returned to school and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Accounting. Marsha then worked in an accounting office, a doctor’s office and for a short time at Eagle Ranch before her health forced her to retire.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she was active in the Relief Society and enjoyed working with the ladies helping others. Marsha volunteered for the Red Cross and spent three weeks at Ground Zero in New York. She enjoyed ham radio and loved camping and traveling with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Mark D. Pratt; daughters, Nickie M. Crosby (Butch Whitehead), Tammi L. Cates (Jeff) and Cinthia A. Rhorer (John Jr.); brother, Lyman Branson (LeAnna); sister, Linda Knape; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Marsha was preceded in death by her parents, Kelly Branson and Marjorie Sinclair; brothers, John and Jesse Branson; and a granddaughter, Tiana Pratt.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, Dec. 19, 2022 at 10 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Boardman.
Burial will follow at the Desert Lawn Memorial Cemetery, Irrigon.
