Mary M. Ballard died on Sept. 21, 2022 at her home in Hermiston at the age of 78.
She was born on Aug. 27, 1944 in Baltimore, Md. to Henry and Marie Walker Horn.
She moved to Hermiston in 1975, where she had lived since. Mary worked for Lamb Weston in Hermiston for over 30 years. She enjoyed horses, cats, dogs, yard work and crocheting.
She is survived by her daughters, Jean Neal, Michel Abney and Jessica Bursell; brothers, Robert and Raymond Horn; sisters, Ann Gagney and Cindy Horn; nine grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents.
