Looking to turn over a new leaf in 2018? Consider becoming a certified OSU Master Gardener.
The Oregon State University Umatilla County Extension is holding the 2018 Master Gardener Training Course at the Blue Mountain Community College Hermiston campus beginning Jan. 10.
Classes are taught by local scientists and include in-class and hands-on instruction. The program features introductions to pollinators, composting, soil science and pest management.
The course runs through the end of March on Wednesdays from 6-9 p.m. and every other Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Course cost is $145. To register, please visit the OSU Umatilla County Extension website to download an application or contact the office at 541-278-5403.
