Hermiston Mayor Dave Drotzmann signed a proclamation Monday night honoring the work of two longtime Hermiston Girl Scouts.
Sisters Sofia Gispert Tello and Andrea Gispert Tello, members of Girl Scout Troop 51444, each earned their Gold Award, the highest honor a Girl Scout can receive.
On Monday, during the Hermiston City Council meeting, the mayor read and signed a proclamation encouraging residents to “recognize the positive impact of community service that Sofia Gispert Tello and Andrea Gispert Tello have contributed to our community.”
