The Me and My Prince Ball committee of Girl Scout volunteers is seeking sponsors for this year’s 14th annual father-daughter dance that will be held May 19 at the Eastern Oregon Event and Trade Center next to the Umatilla County Fairgrounds in Hermiston.

The formal/semi-formal event is open to girls of all ages throughout the community and their fathers/father figures with a goal to help strengthen daddy-daughter bonds. Sponsor contributions assist in covering expenses such as site rental, decorations and catering. There are three levels of sponsorship that include complementary tickets, and contributor recognition at the event and on promotional materials with contributions that are made by March 12. Contributions are tax deductible.

The Me and My Prince Ball is hosted by Girl Scouts of Oregon and Southwest Washington. Admission includes a 5×7 portrait and corsage for each girl, a boutonniere for each man, refreshments and a chance to win door prizes. Tickets go on sale in mid-April at 60 Minute Photo in Hermiston and sell out fast.

For more information about the ball or how to become a sponsor, leave a message for Michelle Kane, Me and My Prince Ball committee member, at (541) 564-5985.
