Three headlining stand-up comedians will take the stage when the 22nd annual Melonville Comedy Festival comes to Hermiston in January.

This year the show will be held Saturday, Jan. 24 at the Hermiston Community Center. The comics appearing in Hermiston – Brad Upton, David Crowe and Duane Goad – have been seen on Last Comic Standing, HBO, The Comedy Channel, and on the Bob and Tom Radio Show.

Upton has been working as a stand-up comic for 35 years. He has appeared in the HBO Comedy Festival, NRP Radio’s Rewind, and will perform this spring with Neal McCoy and Johnny Mathis. Upton has several albums that are played on XM Satellite Radio.

Crowe is a frequent guest on the Bob and Tom Radio show, has appeared in his own Comedy Central special, and can be heard often on Satellite Radio.

Goad has worked in many of the top clubs in the United States. He’s opened for Lewis Black and Jim Gaffigan. Goad also has an animated show on Comedy Central.

The Melonville Comedy Festival has been an annual event in Hermiston since 1992. The show raises money for Special Olympics, and several other community organizations. The show is sponsored by KORD and 97 Rock.

Tickets for the Melonville Comedy Festival are $35 each and are on sale at the Hermiston Chamber.
