Mental health first aid training will be available to the public at Good Shepherd Medical Center on Wednesday, Dec. 10, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The training is designed for anyone and will teach professionals and community members how to help people who are working with individuals who are experiencing a mental health crisis.
The training will be conducted by Kathryn Chaney of the Umatilla-Morrow Domestic Violence Services and will be held in Conference Room 2 at Good Shepherd. The training is free and there will be a handbook available for $15.
