Michael Edward “Mike” Dunn of Hermiston died on Feb. 21, 2018 in Hermiston at the age of 67.
He was born on June 25, 1950 in Merced, Calif. to Kenneth Edison Dunn and Lorene Parker Dunn.
Mike moved to Hermiston in 1980 with his first wife, Nancy, and their daughter Monique. His main lifetime occupation was master diesel mechanic and parts manager, and he worked for various companies in and around the Hermiston area. After the death of his wife, Nancy, he married RaNiel Jennings on June 25, 1999 in Pendleton.
Mike’s hobbies included collecting old cars, watching drag racing, reading, gardening and tinkering in his workshop. He also was a volunteer firefighter for the city of Hermiston for a couple of years.
He is survived by his wife, RaNiel Dunn; brother, Jim Dunn of Sacramento, Calif.; daughter, Monique Schuh (Larry) of Albuquerque, N.M.; stepson, Christopher Jennings, La Grande; stepdaughter, Stephanie Miller (Nick) of Helix; and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, mother and wife, Nancy.
He was loved by all and will be missed.
