Mindy Michelle Smith Alderson passed away on March 3, 2024 at the age of 45.
She was born on Oct. 8, 1978.
In loving memory of Mindy Michelle Smith Alderson, daughter of John and Kathy Smith, beloved wife of 14 years to Adam Alderson, and friend to many.
She was preceded in death by siblings, Jonathan and Angela. Mindy’s kindness and unwavering love will echo in our hearts. Mindy, with her infectious smile and her adorable giggle, brightened every occasion. Whether it was a birth, birthday, wedding, or even a divorce party, Mindy was there, especially if there was red velvet cake involved – if she could whip out a dress and a tiara, she’d do it! From helping decorate children’s birthday parties to pursuing her passion for fashion design at Seattle Art Institute, she added joy to everything she did. Her talents as a singer and artist shone brightly, and she made it through several rounds of “The Voice” and taught ballet classes! She never shied away from the spotlight, singing solos, being in the church Christmas plays and singing karaoke, and she was the first on the dance floor, always dressed to perfection. Mindy’s kindness and unwavering love will echo in our hearts. As we celebrate her life, let’s remember her signature giggle she shared and her traveling adventures with friends and family. Mindy, you’ll always be a part of our treasured memories, and your giggle lives on in the love that you brought to everyone around you. Forever in our hearts.
A memorial will be on May 18 at 1 p.m. at Trinity Church, Soldotna, Alaska.
