No flooding is expected for the local region and the Blue Mountains, according to a briefing Thursday by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).

A couple of weather systems will move through this weekend and early next week with valley rain and a mix of rain and snow for the mountains, according to the NOAA. A ridge of high pressure will then build over the region with dry and warmer conditions through the end of the week.

Streams and rivers will see some small rises again late in the weekend and early next week, then steady flows at the higher levels due to snow melt from warmer temperatures, but no flooding is expected.
