Morris T. “Morrie” Thompson of Boardman died on March 21, 2022 in Hermiston at the age of 77.
He was born on Oct. 15, 1944 in Boardman to William and Ann Kristensen Thompson.
Morrie was raised by his grandparents, Nels and Sine Kristensen in Boardman. He graduated in 1962 from high school in Boardman and continued to live there his entire life. Morrie worked for a time at Lamb Weston and then in construction and farming.
He enjoyed bird hunting, duck hunting, fishing, shopping and socializing with his friends. Morrie was well known and well like and never had a harsh word.
He is survived by many extended family and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 11 a.m. at the Riverview Cemetery, Boardman.
