Morrow County Fair Opens Today

Shining a spotlight on family and community, the 2024 Morrow County Fair theme is “Admiration for Generations.”

The event kicks off today, Aug. 14, 9 a.m. at the Morrow County Fairgrounds, 74473 Highway 74. Admission is free.

Opening day highlights include live 4-H food contests from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and a small animal show from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. For some light-hearted fun, catch Dr. Jon, a comedy hypnotist act at 4 p.m. Also, the Public Style Revue runs from 5-7 p.m.

Also, Lenn Greer will prepare tri-tip for the fair appreciation dinner at 6:30 p.m. The public is welcome. Tickets are $15 at the fair office. Live music features fiddle player Michelle Lambert. For questions, call the fair office at 541-676-9474.
