The Morrow County Heritage and Agricultural museums in Heppner invite the public to their Museum Day family event tomorrow, June 14.
The event marks the 122nd anniversary of the 1903 flood that claimed the lives of 247 people and is the worst natural disaster in Oregon’s history.
Visitors can stop by the Heritage Museum at 444 N. Main St. and learn about the flood, then go to the Agricultural Museum on Riverside Avenue to see the classic farm equipment and vehicles, reproductions of old local stores, and more.
