A motorcyclist died Wednesday after an accident on Interstate 84 near The Dalles.
According to the Oregon State Police, troopers responded to s suspicious vehicle call around 1:15 p.m. The responding trooper arrived on scene of a motorcycle laid against the guardrail. After some searching, the driver of the motorcycle was located with injures. The driver was transported, by EMS, to the hospital but succumbed to the injuries while en route to the hospital.
OSP said the driver was located approximately 330 feet behind the location of the motorcycle over the guardrail about 35 feet down an embankment in some tall grass. The driver stated he had blacked out while riding eastbound on I-84 near milepost 92.
The name of the driver will be released after family has been notified.
