Libraries of Eastern Oregon will present The Appalachian Dulcimer: Made in America with musicians Heidi Muller and Bob Webb at the Hermiston Public Library on Thursday, Nov. 5 at 6:30 p.m.
Muller and Webb will sing songs and play traditional tunes on their collection of Appalachian mountain dulcimers, and discuss the revival of the instrument in American folk music since the 1940s. Take a journey in song while you learn about the history and unique design of this truly American instrument. Muller and Webb are professional musicians who moved to Enterprise from West Virginia, where they taught dulcimer in schools, churches, and senior centers.
