A large crowd is expected to fill the Hermiston High School gym tonight for the National Day of Prayer.
The free event gets under way at 6:30 p.m., and will include music by the Jacob Looper Band, speakers offering prayers for the nation and its leaders, as well as a Spanish-language translator interpreting speakers and prayers. The theme this year is Lord, Hear Our Cry.
In the past, the event was held at McKenzie Park, but a larger event is planned this year. For more information, call Rob Lovett at 541-571-7033.
