Tamástslikt Cultural Institute’s outdoor living culture village will examine Native American clothing on Saturday.
Visitors to Naami Nishaycht village will learn how clothing was made and from what animals, as well as learn about feathered bustles, headdresses, breast plates and more. Children will also get to make a necklace to take home.
The village, which includes replicas of traditional and prehistoric structures of Plateau Indian people, is open each Saturday through Aug. 30 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
